Compare the best Christmas buffets in Singapore for 2026, including Christmas Eve dinners, Christmas Day brunches, halal options, seafood spreads and festive hotel feasts.

Research

We compared Singapore hotel buffets with confirmed 2026 festive programmes, prioritising restaurants that had published current Christmas dates, menus or special-event pricing rather than relying on previous-year information. We compared regular festive buffet prices with Christmas Eve and Christmas Day rates, seafood and carving selections, drinks included, children’s pricing, halal certification where relevant, family-friendly entertainment and how substantially the Christmas menu differs from the restaurant’s usual buffet. Where a hotel had announced its festive programme but had not yet published every special-date price, this was stated clearly rather than estimated from 2025 rates.

First-hand experience

This guide is based primarily on current editorial research rather than a simultaneous first-hand visit to every 2026 Christmas buffet listed. We have therefore avoided presenting food quality, service, queue experience, seafood freshness or festive atmosphere as our own current observations where these were not independently experienced for this update.

Christmas buffets in Singapore have a habit of escalating very quickly. A perfectly reasonable plan to have turkey and log cake can somehow become three kinds of crab, oysters on ice, wagyu at the carving station, Champagne before noon and the realisation that you have paid considerably more for Christmas lunch than you intended.

That does not mean the expensive buffets are poor value. Some of Singapore’s hotels put on genuinely impressive festive spreads, and Christmas is one of the few occasions when an enormous buffet can make more sense than trying to satisfy three generations of a family with one set menu.

The important part is choosing the right one.

For Christmas 2026, Edge at Pan Pacific Singapore is our best overall choice because its festive programme is unusually well defined, with strong seafood and carving stations, several price points throughout December and dedicated Christmas Eve and Christmas Day menus.

For a halal-certified celebration, Carousel at Royal Plaza on Scotts is our first choice. If you are prepared to spend considerably more for Champagne and one of Singapore’s most polished hotel-buffet experiences, Colony at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore is the splurge.

Quick answer: What are the best Christmas buffets in Singapore in 2026?

Our top Christmas buffet picks for 2026 are Edge, Carousel, Colony, One-Ninety Restaurant, Lime Restaurant, Seasonal Tastes, Oscar’s and Peppermint.

The best choice depends heavily on when you are dining. A festive buffet on 10 December can cost less than half the price of the same hotel’s Christmas Eve dinner, so it is worth deciding whether you actually need to eat on 24 or 25 December before comparing prices.

About this guide

We compared hotel buffets with confirmed 2026 festive programmes, prioritising restaurants that have published current dates, menus or pricing rather than carrying forward last year’s Christmas information.

We looked at the regular festive-buffet price as well as the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day surcharge, seafood and carving selections, drinks included, children’s pricing, halal certification where relevant, family-friendly extras and how distinctive the Christmas menu is compared with the restaurant’s normal buffet.

Where a hotel has announced its 2026 festive programme but has not yet published every special-date price, we say so rather than inserting a 2025 rate.

Prices and programmes last checked: 2 November 2026.

1. Edge at Pan Pacific Singapore

Best for: The strongest overall combination of food, festive atmosphere and choice of dates
Festive period: 16 November to 30 December 2026, with separate Christmas menus
Regular festive buffet: From $78++ per adult
Christmas Eve lunch: $128++
Christmas Eve dinner / Christmas Day celebrations: $198++ per adult

Edge has one major advantage when planning Christmas: the hotel has made the different levels of celebration unusually clear.

The regular festive buffet begins at $78++ for weekday lunch in the second half of November, rising to $88++ for weekday lunches in December. Weekend lunches, Sunday brunches and dinners cost progressively more. Then 24 and 25 December get their own dedicated programme.

Christmas Eve lunch is $128++ per adult, while Christmas Eve dinner and the main Christmas Day celebrations are $198++. Children aged six to 12 are $99++ at the premium Christmas sessions, while children aged three to five are $28++.

The premium rate also makes a little more sense once you notice what is included. The main Christmas dinner price includes non-alcoholic drinks, while a $278++ package adds free-flow Taittinger Brut Réserve Champagne, wine, beer, spirits and cocktails.

Food-wise, this is the sort of buffet people imagine when they say they want a proper hotel Christmas buffet: seafood, large roast meats, traditional turkey and a large dessert section rather than a handful of festive decorations added to the normal dinner.

Editor’s Verdict

Edge is our best overall Christmas buffet for 2026.

It works particularly well because you can choose how committed you want to be. Go earlier in December for a much more reasonable festive buffet, choose the $128++ Christmas Eve lunch if the date matters, or commit fully to the $198++ Christmas celebration.

That range makes it easier to recommend than a buffet that only becomes “festive” once the price crosses $200.

2. Carousel at Royal Plaza on Scotts

Best for: The best all-round halal-certified Christmas buffet
Festive period: 21 November 2026 to 1 January 2027
Festive buffet: From $68++
Christmas Eve dinner: $168++
Christmas Day lunch and dinner: $138++

Carousel is an obvious inclusion for mixed family groups because its kitchens and buffet stations are MUIS halal-certified while still offering the scale and variety associated with a large Orchard Road hotel buffet.

Its 2026 festive programme is called Once Upon A Feast, running daily from 21 November through New Year’s Day.

Regular weekday festive lunch is $92++, high tea $68++ and dinner $118++. On weekends, those rates rise to $102++, $78++ and $128++ respectively.

Christmas pricing is actually relatively sensible compared with several Marina Bay hotels. Christmas Eve dinner costs $168++, while Christmas Day lunch and dinner cost $138++. Christmas Day high tea is $88++. Children aged six to 11 pay half the adult rate, while children below six dine free.

The hotel is also leaning heavily into the Christmas atmosphere this year, with storybook styling, roaming characters and singing waiters rather than simply placing a poinsettia beside the seafood counter.

Editor’s Verdict

Carousel is our first recommendation for a halal Christmas buffet and one of the easiest choices for a large extended family.

It offers enough international variety to accommodate very different tastes, the Orchard location is convenient, and the Christmas Day price is notably lower than the $198++ tier now common at several luxury hotels.

Have you tried 2. Carousel at Royal Plaza on Scotts?

3. Colony at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore

Best for: A full luxury Christmas splurge
Location: Marina Bay
Style: Seven live conservatory kitchens and premium Champagne packages

Colony is the buffet for the year when somebody says, “It is Christmas, so we might as well.”

The regular restaurant already operates across seven live kitchens, covering seafood, grills and roasts, wok dishes, Indian cooking, steam baskets and an extensive pastry section. The Ritz-Carlton also continues to position Colony’s Champagne brunch as one of its signature dining experiences.

Current 2026 festive information points to dedicated Christmas Eve and Christmas Day menus, including a Christmas Eve seafood dinner and Champagne-led Christmas brunches. Current published festive guides based on the hotel’s 2026 menus put Christmas Eve dinner at around $298++ with free-flow Champagne, while the Christmas Day Champagne brunch moves considerably higher.

This is not where we would go looking for value.

What you are paying for is the overall Ritz-Carlton version of Christmas: the setting, service, premium seafood, serious roast selection, pastry display and Champagne tiers that can become astonishingly expensive if you choose the upper-end bottles.

Editor’s Verdict

Colony is the luxury pick rather than the sensible pick.

If your priority is eating as much Christmas food as possible for the least money, there are better options. If the meal itself is the main event of Christmas Day and you want a genuinely polished occasion, Colony sits in a different category from most hotel buffets.

Have you tried 3. Colony at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore?

4. One-Ninety at Four Seasons Hotel Singapore

Best for: Christmas Day brunch with a traditional festive spread
Christmas Eve dinner: $188++ per adult
Christmas Day brunch: $228++ per adult
Child price: $94++ on Christmas Eve; $114++ for Christmas Day brunch

Four Seasons has published unusually detailed menus for its 2026 Christmas celebrations.

Christmas Eve dinner at One-Ninety costs $188++ per adult and includes classic festive centrepieces such as honey-mustard glazed bone-in ham and roasted USDA prime rib, alongside seafood, charcuterie, cheeses and a large dessert selection.

The Christmas Day brunch rises to $228++ per adult and $114++ per child aged five to 12. Drinks are separate: classic free-flow Prosecco, wine, beer and Aperol Spritz adds $55, while the Champagne package adds $85.

The setting is also noticeably calmer than some of Singapore’s enormous buffet restaurants. One-Ninety is a botanical-inspired brasserie rather than a sprawling food hall, so the overall experience feels more like Christmas lunch at a luxury hotel restaurant and less like trying to complete every station before the seating ends.

Editor’s Verdict

One-Ninety is our favourite for Christmas Day brunch if traditional festive food matters more than having 120 dishes.

The $228++ price is undeniably high, but the menu is coherent: proper roasts, seafood, charcuterie, cheese and Christmas desserts rather than variety simply for the sake of variety.

Have you tried 4. One-Ninety at Four Seasons Hotel Singapore?

5. Lime at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering

Best for: Christmas near Chinatown and seafood-heavy groups
Festive period: 13 November 2026 to 3 January 2027
Christmas Eve dinner: $158++
Christmas Day lunch: $158++
Christmas Day high tea: $128++

Lime’s Christmas-in-a-Garden programme is one of the more attractive options if you want a premium buffet but do not want to cross the $200 mark.

The dedicated Christmas menu is priced at $158++ per adult for Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas Day lunch, with children aged six to 12 paying $79++. Christmas Day high tea is $128++ for adults and $64++ for children. Children under six dine free.

The seafood section is substantial, including Boston lobster, snow crab, scallops, prawns and assorted shellfish. The festive programme also leans heavily into grilled and roast dishes, which fits Lime’s Josper-driven style.

There is a second advantage here: you do not necessarily have to wait until Christmas Day. Its broader festive programme starts in November, when weekday meals are materially cheaper.

Editor’s Verdict

Lime is one of the better compromises between premium Christmas dining and a price that has not become completely detached from reality.

At $158++, Christmas Day lunch is still expensive, but the seafood selection and central location give it a clear proposition.

Have you tried 5. Lime at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering?

6. Seasonal Tastes at The Westin Singapore

Best for: A relatively good-value five-star festive buffet
Festive lunch: From $68++
Festive dinner: From $108++

Seasonal Tastes is one of the more interesting choices if you want the full hotel-buffet experience but are flexible about dining before Christmas Eve itself.

The Westin’s official 2026 festive programme starts at $68++ for lunch and $108++ for dinner, with premium seafood, slow-roasted Angus prime rib and traditional herb-roasted turkey among the advertised festive highlights. Every diner also receives a complimentary glass of house wine.

Christmas carollers are scheduled at Seasonal Tastes on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, so the hotel has put some effort into making the period feel genuinely festive rather than simply changing the menu title.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day sessions are priced above the ordinary festive buffet; current 2026 Christmas guides put the special-date rate around $168++ per adult.

Editor’s Verdict

Seasonal Tastes is the one we would look at if you want a five-star Christmas buffet but are willing to celebrate on 20 or 21 December instead of the 24th or 25th.

That decision can cut the cost dramatically without giving up the seafood, turkey and roast-beef part of the experience.

Have you tried 6. Seasonal Tastes at The Westin Singapore?

7. Oscar’s at Conrad Singapore Marina Bay

Best for: One of the more approachable Christmas special-date prices in Marina Bay
Festive period: 25 November 2026 to 6 January 2027
Regular festive lunch: From $70++
Regular festive dinner: From $78++
Special festive dates: From $98++ per adult

Oscar’s is worth paying attention to because Conrad’s current Christmas pricing starts much lower than several neighbouring luxury hotels.

The normal festive programme runs from 25 November 2026 to 6 January 2027, with lunch from $70++ and dinner from $78++. The hotel’s dedicated Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day buffets start from $98++ per adult.

The spread follows the familiar international Christmas-buffet formula: seafood, festive roasts and desserts alongside local and international dishes.

Oscar’s also benefits from being a relatively relaxed all-day dining restaurant rather than a buffet that is selling itself almost exclusively as a prestige experience.

Editor’s Verdict

Oscar’s is one of the first places we would check if everyone wants a hotel Christmas buffet but somebody in the group has objected to paying $200 before drinks.

The exact special-session price depends on the meal, so check your selected date before booking, but the starting point is notably more approachable.

Have you tried 7. Oscar’s at Conrad Singapore Marina Bay?

8. Peppermint at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay

Best for: A halal-certified family Christmas in Marina Bay
Festive period: 1 November 2026 to 1 January 2027
Kitchen and buffet stations: Halal-certified

Peppermint offers something slightly different from Carousel.

Both are halal-certified hotel buffets, but Peppermint’s 2026 festive programme is more heavily built around fire and grill cooking, using its Josper grill for the Roast & Grill: The Festive Collection.

Confirmed festive dishes include traditional roast turkey, Salmon Wellington with seafood otak-otak, Festive Ruby Pear Soup and spiced bomboloni.

Families also get more overt entertainment on the key dates. Santa and Santarina are scheduled for the Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas Day lunch, together with a themed photo booth, while Christmas Eve adds a roaming magician.

The hotel’s public festive page had not yet published the dedicated Christmas Eve and Christmas Day price when we checked, so we would confirm the special-date rate before booking rather than assuming its normal buffet pricing applies.

Editor’s Verdict

Peppermint is the halal pick if you want the meal to feel particularly Christmassy for younger children.

Carousel offers more transparent special-date pricing and is our overall halal winner, but Peppermint has the stronger case for a festive family experience with Santa and entertainment built around the meal.

Christmas Eve or Christmas Day: which buffet is better?

Christmas Eve dinner is usually the more atmospheric option. Hotels have their decorations fully lit, many add carollers or entertainment, and an evening meal feels naturally celebratory.

It is also frequently expensive.

Christmas Day lunch or brunch tends to work better for families with young children and older relatives because nobody is waiting until 8pm to begin a two-hour meal.

There is also a third option that is much easier on the wallet: go for a festive buffet earlier in December.

At Edge, for example, weekday festive lunch costs $88++ in December compared with $198++ for the major Christmas sessions. At Seasonal Tastes, ordinary festive lunch begins at $68++.

Unless 24 or 25 December itself matters to your family, that is often the better-value move.

How much does a Christmas buffet cost in Singapore in 2026?

For an ordinary festive hotel buffet in December, roughly $70++ to $130++ per adult is still possible.

For Christmas Eve dinner or Christmas Day brunch at a five-star hotel, $130++ to $230++ per adult is a more realistic range, with premium Champagne buffets going considerably higher.

Carousel’s Christmas Day lunch is $138++, Lime is $158++, One-Ninety’s brunch is $228++ and Edge’s main Christmas celebrations are $198++.

Remember that ++ means the final bill will be higher after service charge and GST.

Which Christmas buffet is best for children?

For younger children, Carousel and Peppermint are our strongest picks.

Carousel lets children under six dine free and charges children aged six to 11 half the adult rate. Its 2026 programme also includes roaming entertainment and a deliberately storybook-like Christmas theme.

Peppermint adds Santa, Santarina, a photo booth and Christmas Eve entertainment.

Edge is also unusually clear about pricing younger children, including a $28++ junior rate for ages three to five at its major Christmas sessions.

Which Christmas buffets are halal?

Among our main picks, Carousel and Peppermint are the two halal-certified buffets.

Carousel states that food prepared and served in the hotel’s kitchens and open buffet stations is MUIS halal-certified.

Peppermint likewise states that its buffet stations and kitchen are halal-certified.

Certification can change, so if this is essential for your group, check the current MUIS listing when making your reservation.

When should you book a Christmas buffet?

For Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas Day brunch, we would book in November rather than waiting until December.

Those are the sessions most likely to fill first, particularly for large groups.

Booking earlier can also matter financially. Hotel dining programmes and membership schemes frequently offer festive discounts, although Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and other special dates are often excluded.

Always check the blackout dates before assuming a 20% dining discount will work on 25 December.

Is free-flow alcohol worth paying for?

It depends almost entirely on your group.

At Edge, the Christmas beverage package takes the adult rate from $198++ to $278++, an $80++ difference.

At One-Ninety, the Christmas Day brunch is $228++, with classic drinks at another $55 or the Champagne package at $85.

For one or two glasses of wine, paying individually may make more sense. The package becomes easier to justify when the group genuinely intends to make Champagne part of a long celebration.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best Christmas buffet in Singapore in 2026?

Our best overall choice is Edge at Pan Pacific Singapore. It offers one of the clearest 2026 festive programmes, strong seafood and carving selections, several pre-Christmas price points and dedicated Christmas Eve and Christmas Day sessions.

What is the best halal Christmas buffet in Singapore?

Carousel at Royal Plaza on Scotts is our best overall halal option because of its large international spread, Orchard location, current MUIS halal certification and transparent 2026 Christmas pricing. Peppermint is an excellent alternative for families who particularly want Santa and Christmas entertainment.

What is the cheapest Christmas buffet in this guide?

For the wider festive season, Seasonal Tastes begins at $68++ for lunch and Carousel’s festive high tea also begins at $68++. Oscar’s festive lunch starts at $70++.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day rates are higher.

What is the best Christmas Day brunch in Singapore?

Our pick is One-Ninety at Four Seasons Hotel Singapore, priced at $228++ per adult and $114++ for children aged five to 12. The menu combines seafood, festive roasts, charcuterie, cheese and a substantial dessert selection.

Which Christmas buffet is best for seafood?

Edge, Lime and Colony are the three we would look at first.

Lime’s Christmas seafood selection explicitly includes Boston lobster, snow crab, scallops, prawns and several varieties of shellfish.

Is it cheaper to eat a Christmas buffet before Christmas?

Usually, dramatically so.

Many hotels switch from ordinary festive pricing to special-event pricing on 24 and 25 December. Edge is one of the clearest examples: weekday December lunch is $88++, while its premium Christmas sessions cost $198++.

Final verdict

For the best balance of variety, festive food and flexibility, Edge is our top Christmas buffet in Singapore for 2026.

If your family needs a halal-certified restaurant, choose Carousel for the strongest all-round option or Peppermint if Santa and family entertainment are a bigger part of the occasion.

For a more traditional Christmas Day brunch, One-Ninety has one of the most coherent festive menus. Lime is a strong alternative if seafood matters and you want to stay below the $200 tier, while Seasonal Tastes and Oscar’s are worth checking if value matters more than sheer extravagance.

And then there is Colony. It is difficult to argue that spending several hundred dollars on a buffet is necessary. It is equally difficult to deny that, for the right celebration, Champagne, king crab, roast turkey and an enormous Ritz-Carlton dessert room sound rather nice.

The main piece of advice is simpler: decide on your date before you choose your buffet. In Singapore, moving Christmas lunch forward by one week can sometimes save almost as much money as choosing an entirely different restaurant.
